#SaintPaul the Hermit: Patron Saint of Clothing

I arrived back in NYC on the thirtieth and immediately went on the hunt for a fabulous NYE outfit.  Because the best time to go shopping for something slinky is after you’ve been eating cookies, cake, and Mom’s cooking for a week – not.

Anyway, my rushed shopping resulted in a fun one-shoulder bronze sequin number from Annie Sez for about $10 and some Betsey Johnson royal blue wedges from Nordstrom Rack for $30 – hooray for holiday sales!betsey

I loved my outfit.  I felt pretty fierce.  Somehow the stars aligned and I managed to find an entire outfit with no time.

And, a couple days later, my roommate found a blue, black, and white Betsey Johnson dress at a thrift store for $13 – have I mentioned I love Betsey Johnson, bankruptcy and all?!  The dress goes great with the blue wedges that miraculously fit me even though they’re a size 7.5 when I’m normally an 8.5!

For once…

p.s. did you know there is a Patron Saint for just about everything?
